Helping children to identify & understand their emotions is an important part of supporting their development.
Allowing a young person to develop empathy is a crucial character trait for young people to develop, in order to have healthy relationships.
Using the statement cards a child can select one or more of the emotion cards to express how the scenario would make them feel, leading to a discussion on emotions which could help a child cope when they are feeling sad, angry, or just over excited.
