About Me

Hi,

My name is Debbi and I live on the south coast near Portsmouth.

I have 2 adult children, Rebecca who runs the award winning  What's the Debate, PSHE training and consultancy, and Alyssa who is an Assistant Producer for a games company.. 

​

I have worked  with children and families in several different roles over the last 30 plus years, childminder, pre-schools, SEMH residential care , social services, Hampshire & Surreys Troubled Families programmes and the Portsmouth autism assessment team.

I have always had a passion in improving mental health and well being particularly of children and young people.

I was lucky to win several awards for female entrepreneurs, in 2018 and am looking forward to Strength Cards evolving and expanding.

In January 2019, I was proud to be chosen as one of the Top 100 UK Female Entrepreneurs by f-entrepreneur

In March 2020, I was extremely honoured to be awarded a small business award from Theo Paphitis ( Dragons Den Fame)
